Bus 24

Writing a summary for a screenplay is an exercise I‘d describe as… how can I put this… wonderfully annoying :
getting people interested without giving too much away. Setting the scene without unlocking the mystery within.
At first, we wanted to give the main character a name : Jean-Marie Bertin, Hubert Crépeau, Baptiste Duvernet.., to give a rough description of him, to talk about the amazing events he sees : all this lightly laced with our own brand of philosophy which is the fruit of our modern socio-political environment.
Thus we write things down, we cross them out, we replace them, we think we‘ve found what we want, we swap things around, we take time out to think, we rub everything out and at the end of all that we come up with two sentences :
A man is waiting for the bus : it‘s the best way to arrive safe and sound.
